Il ne marche pas!!!!!

I saw this and immediately bought it. I was surprised I beat it on the first try on medium difficulty starting with 3 lives. I think I lost 3 lives throughout the entire game and, of course, I mustve picked up extra lives along the way. I should qualify this by saying that I once stayed on the *arcade* machine once for 45 minutes with one quarter… so I look forward to trying the more difficult setting. All in all, I really like it, but I dont know why sometimes on the later levels it becomes jerky when there are three balls moving incredibly fast. This didnt happen on the 1986 arcade version and I believe the iPhones capabilities are a bit better than the graphics processing on that machine!

The core gameplay is there, but the cumbersome menus need to be overhauled. Having to watch the intro "cinematic" every time before diving into single player is also a major annoyance. It also needs a save mode and the pause menu needs to have actual options.

Just like the one that I played when I was a kid. Very fun game.

I love this game! Brings back alot of memories of pumping quarters into arcade cabinets! This is a great update visually but I do wish there was an option for the classic music. I loved the little jingle at the start of a new stage. Sadly that isnt there anymore. Its only at the beginning of the game. That said this update is really fun! Back to gaming!!

I had this on the Amiga and the memories are back! And cooler! Beats all the brick-like copies out there.

Just like the original! Great fun. Have to wait for someone or something? Pull this out and time flies by. Great job. First review I have ever written...thats how impressed I am.

A bug - You can set Arkanoid to play tunes from your iPod, but after youve finished playing and you use the regular iPod again, the volume wont work and you have to turn off the iPod and turn it back on again.

Sometimes I click to save progress. Try to play later and it starts at the 1st level again! Please fix this bug! Otherwise great game.

My favorite game on the ipod touch, but please fix the save function. The visuals and controls are really great, i was actually worried how the controls would be prior to buying the app. I would recommend this to everyone. LOVE Arkanoid! Thanks Taito =)

Great game. But why do I have to tap through multiple intro screens to play? It is REALLY annoying .

The price is a bit steep but its worth it in the end because its the original. Great game. Sure brings me back.

This game is a classic.... Retro gaming at its best!

After the latest iOS update, all the colors in the game are screwed up. Red is now blue for example. The game still works, but it looks kind of ugly. Also, it would be nice to be able to listen to iPod music while playing. Sure you can select specific tracks to play for each stage, but thats not really the same thing. This game needs an update.

I paid for the game (was my favorite arcade game!!) and played it once which definitely meet my expectations......but then went "other TAITO" games within the main menu....it opened a web browser, which is fine, but now whenever I click on the app on my iphone the web browser comes up and not the game!! I cant play it anymore!! FIX THIS PROBLEM!!!

If you enjoy watching a blank white screen, then this is the game for you. Otherwise, save your money and avoid this scam.

It crashes after H6!!!!

I love paying $5.00 for an app the just simply doesnt work... The support page for Arkanoid is in Chinese or Japanese.

I have no clue why this app isnt more popular; its fun, challenging, and endlessly replayable. Youll never be bored another day of your life.
